Baby Steps - Putting It All Together

So, now you have your paper coupons, your list and your printed coupons. It's time to match everything up. Use your list and the note below it to decide how many of each item your going to be buying. I can think of few things worse than being that woman in the grocery store with all her coupons and not knowing what goes where.

The notes on your list will tell you which insert to go to grab it and clip the coupon you need, leaving the rest for another day. I use a jumbo paperclip to secure all my coupons together for my trip. I go in with my list and my coupons. Buy what's on my list and leave. My shopping trips are much easier these days :)

Baby Step 3 - Printable Coupons

If you are using the Southern Savers shopping list, under each item will be listed the coupon match-ups, paper coupons will have the date from the paper they were in and other links will say "printable". This printable ones are great. Someone else has taken all the time to find the coupons all you have to do is click on it.

Important things to know:

1.) Yes you need to register. It's going to make the first few times a little tedious because you'll be entering information and creating a login. The good news is, once you're in you are set. You will get e-mails from these people. I might suggest you open a free e-mail account through gmail, hotmail, msn, yahoo, etc. use it for all your coupon stuff, that way you won't fill up your everyday inbox with a lot of junk mail.
**You will often times get coupons e-mailed to you so check the account every now and then to see what you have

2.) You have to install the coupon printing add on. When you are redirected to the site, the first time you will get a pop up telling you to run the add on. It is required in order to be able to print your coupons.

3.) You can only print the same coupon twice from a certain computer. If you have 2 different computers in the same house you can print the same coupon 4 times, twice from each computer, even if they share the same printer.

Now trim you coupons down and your ready to put everything together!
